FourFour is an Australian startup that makes the worlds first battery-powered smartphone.
Its phone, the Pogo Energy, was announced in July this year.
It has a range of 200mAh, and can store energy from up to 10 hours.
The Pogo is the world’s first battery powered phone that also features a built-in GPS.

The company is working with leading manufacturers and is targeting a 2020 launch.
FourFour’s chief executive, David Ewalt, says the phone’s battery is the next generation of battery technology.
“It’s the battery we’ve been waiting for, and that battery is an electric car,” he says.
“The idea is that the battery is a battery that can be rechargeable at any time, that’s a battery.”
He says the battery’s capacity is up to five times as much as other batteries.
“We’ve made it so it’s rechargeable and you can recharge it with electricity.”
FourFour has built a battery in-house, and it is using a customised chemistry that reduces the risk of lithium ion cell degradation.
FourThree’s chief technology officer, Mark Taylor, says that is a big step forward.
“Battery technology has changed a lot in the last 10 to 15 years,” he explains.
“So it’s really, really remarkable that we’ve managed to make a battery with such great longevity.” “

“FourFour’s design and chemistry is unique,” says Mr Taylor.
“This is the battery that you’ll see in the next Tesla Model S. “You’ll see it in a Tesla Model X, and we’ve got the same technology in a whole range of other products.

FourTwo’s CEO, Nicky Smith, says it is important to remember that the batteries are the future of energy storage, not the future battery.
He says there is a huge opportunity for battery companies to make batteries that last a lot longer.
“I would say there’s an opportunity to get batteries for up a year or more,” he tells FourFour in a video interview.
“And that’s where the battery technology is going to change a lot, because that’s how long batteries last.”
FourTwo says the company has a lot of potential to improve the efficiency of battery technologies.
It is developing a battery called a battery for water, which is a major problem for water power.
The water power battery is also being developed to improve its energy storage capability.
“With water power, the problem is it has to be pumped from the sea and that’s expensive, and there’s no water power,” Mr Smith says.
FourOne has made a number of advancements in battery research, including developing the first batteries for electric vehicles.
It recently partnered with Qualcomm to make the first commercial battery for a car.
“For electric vehicles, it is going away from a diesel to a battery powered vehicle, and then it will be electric vehicles for a long time to come,” says Ms Smith.
“If we’re really going to make that happen, we need to get it right.”
Ms Smith says it takes a lot to change the industry.
“A lot of people are going to have to change their business models, because we are going into the world of a billion users by 2020,” she says.
“[And] that is going on with this one battery, but it is not the only one.”
FourOne is currently working on a range-extended battery for cars, and is aiming to produce one every six months.
“As an organisation, we’ve done so much with the battery, so it will take time to get there,” Ms Smith said.
“But we will get there.”
4Four has launched a new website to promote the Pago Energy, and will be unveiling it at the company’s launch event later this month.
“To date, we have had more than 30,000 downloads of our website,” Ms Taylor says, “and we’re looking to grow that to more than 50,000.”
The launch event will take place at the Australian Renewable Energy Agency (ARENA) in Melbourne.
